Sungrow Hydrogen Deploys Electrolysis Systems Across Oman, Italy, and Brazil

Sungrow Hydrogen has delivered electrolysis systems to projects across three continents, marking expansion of its hydrogen technology deployment.
In Oman, the company is supplying 160 MW of alkaline water electrolysis (AWE) units for ACME Group's green ammonia development. Sungrow Hydrogen cited its in-house production management and automated electrolyzer assembly lines as supporting the project delivery and future gigawatt-scale scalability.
An Italian project received a 3 MW containerized proton exchange membrane (PEM) system for what the company describes as the country's first MW-scale off-grid photovoltaic-to-hydrogen installation. The system integrates with PV inverters and battery storage through Sungrow Hydrogen's HyBrain intelligent hydrogen management system, designed to address the variability of renewable power in off-grid electrolysis applications.
In Brazil, Sungrow Hydrogen shipped a containerized flexible electrolysis system for a green hydrogen project designed to handle variable solar power input. The system meets ASME, ISO 22734, and local Inmetro and NR certifications. The Brazilian project will support hydrogen-natural gas blending trials as part of the country's energy transition efforts.
