Solaris Selects Ballard Fuel Cell System for Next-Generation Hydrogen Bus Platform

Solaris Bus & Coach has selected Ballard Power Systems' FCmove®-SC fuel cell engine for integration into its next-generation hydrogen bus platform. The agreement encompasses the use of Ballard's FCmove®-SC system in Solaris's Generation 2 fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) bus programme.

The partnership extends an existing long-term supply arrangement between the two companies, now updated through 2029 to align with planned vehicle deliveries and revised commercial terms. This supply agreement establishes a continued relationship between the bus manufacturer and fuel cell technology provider for upcoming hydrogen bus development and production.
