SEFE and Baltic Sea Hydrogen Collector Sign Agreement to Develop Nordic-Baltic-Germany Hydrogen Corridor

Northern Europe Energy Group, SEFE, and the Baltic Sea Hydrogen Collector consortium have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore development of an integrated hydrogen value chain linking the Nordic-Baltic region with Germany. The agreement was signed at WindWorks 2026 in Riga.
The Baltic Sea Hydrogen Collector is a cross-border project designed to secure green hydrogen supply across the Nordic region and Central Europe. The consortium includes Gasgrid Finland, GASCADE Gastransport, and Copenhagen EnergyIslands, a Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners entity.
The MOU represents a collaborative effort to establish hydrogen infrastructure and supply chains connecting northern Europe with central European markets, leveraging existing gas transport networks and renewable energy resources in the Nordic-Baltic region.
