Rainbow Colors, a Dutch tulip nursery, has successfully installed a 1 MW solid oxide electrolyzer for on-site hydrogen production. The installation represents a direct application of hydrogen production technology in the agricultural sector.
According to analysis by GlobalData, global low-carbon hydrogen capacity is projected to reach 65.3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) by 2030. This growth is expected to be driven primarily by expanding green hydrogen production capacity in the Americas.
