Ceres Launches New Solid Oxide Stack for Power Generation and Hydrogen Production

Ceres, a UK-based technology licensor, has introduced the Endura stack, a 10.8kW solid oxide unit designed to address dual applications in power generation and hydrogen production.
The stack is based on Ceres' steel substrate-based solid oxide cells, which operate at temperatures between 450–630ºC. The technology can function in two configurations: as a fuel cell for power generation or as an electrolyzer for hydrogen production.
According to Ceres, the Endura stack is positioned to meet demand for on-site power solutions at data centres while simultaneously reducing the costs associated with green hydrogen production.
