Atawey Secures Contract for Three Hydrogen Refueling Stations in Belgium

Atawey has announced the signing of a contract for three hydrogen refueling stations in Belgium following a competitive tender process. The stations will be deployed by Colruyt Group and Virya Energy, with completion targeted for the end of 2027.
The three stations will have a combined distribution capacity exceeding 7 tonnes per day and are designed specifically for heavy-duty mobility applications. They will be built using Atawey's modular and standardized architecture and will support Europe's decarbonization efforts while meeting Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) requirements.
Atawey will provide comprehensive support services to ensure optimal equipment availability throughout the stations' operation.
The contract represents a significant milestone in Atawey's international expansion strategy, following the deployment of its first station in Italy. It also marks a transition to series production orders, demonstrating the company's industrial maturity through optimized production processes, structured supply chains, and proven quality standards.
Jean-Michel Amaré, President and Co-Founder of Atawey, stated that the project confirms hydrogen's relevance in accelerating transport decarbonization and represents the concrete implementation of the company's international expansion strategy.
