Air Products Advances Europe's Largest Liquid Hydrogen Facility in Rotterdam

Air Products has announced a significant construction milestone on its new liquid hydrogen facility in the Port of Rotterdam. The facility is now over 65% complete and approaching an advanced stage of construction.

When operational in 2027, the facility will be the largest liquid hydrogen production facility in Europe. The expansion will significantly increase Air Products' liquid hydrogen product availability in the region and strengthen its capabilities for customers across existing and emerging industries.

The new liquefier will integrate with Air Products' established hydrogen distribution infrastructure in Rotterdam, reinforcing the company's strategic position within the industrial cluster. The facility is expected to enhance reliable supply for a wide range of industrial applications in the Netherlands and the broader European market.
